Introducing Donald E. Doyle, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Doctor Doyle is an Otolaryngologist and received his Board certification in October, 1976, from The American Board of Otolaryngology. His career as an inventor began when he was a first year resident in Otolaryngology at White Memorial Medical center in L.A., CA.His first patent application was filed on September 16, 1974. That first patent application was for the Doyle Intranasal Airway Splint.

As of this writing, Dr. Doyle has been awarded 28 U.S. medical patents, and 30 overall. There were also patents awarded in the U.K, Japan, and Germany. Other patent applications were for general medicine devices and even baseball.

Dr. Doyle has spoken about his patented devices in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and Cologne, Germany, and has published articles describing the purpose and use of the Doyle Splint, Doyle Nasal Pack, Doyle Staxistat,Doyle Spacer Splint, and The Doyle Patient friendly Nasal Pack. Overall, Dr. Doyle has published 10 articles in medical journals, and a chapter in a text book devoted to diagnosis and treatment of disorders of The Temperomandibular apparatus, the subject being The Embryology of the Temperomandibular joint.

In addition to becoming a physician, surgeon and inventor, Dr. Doyle had an eight year career as a model and TV commercial actor in New York City, Omaha, NB, and L.A. CA..
